AREA FORUM/WARD GRANTS
Matter for Consideration:
To consider applications under the Area Forum/Ward Grants Schemes.
Information:
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £20,000 to each Ward and the Area Forums have been awarded budgets equivalent to £7,500 per ward covered for the financial year 2013/2014. The funding for either scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillors Cain and Jones of Bloomfield Ward have requested £3,350 for the purchase and installation of an alley gate at Kirby Road. The total amount includes £275 estimated advertising costs.

Councillor Taylor and Mrs Taylor of Claremont Ward have requested £2,450 for the purchase and installation of an alley gate at Springfield Road. The total amount includes £275estimated advertising costs.

Councillors Riding and Smith of Talbot Ward have requested:
(i) £1,825 for the purchase and installation of an alley gate at Harley Road. The total amount includes £275 estimated advertising costs.
(ii) £3,350 to re-site the alley gate on Reads Avenue.
